We all have a centre within us.
Whenever we feel lost or unsure of something we can lose contact with that centre. We become externally focussed and can end up drifting around and feeling like we’re being pulled from pillar to post, or in several different directions. We can feel scattered, panicky or adrift in the mental plane.
But the heart can be a great resting place for the mind. Whenever we feel lost or unsure of anything we can drop down from our heads into our hearts.
We can ground and centre.
This can be one of the most powerful and helpful practices in times of change, as well as in just about every life situation.
When we make contact with our centres and with our hearts we no longer rely solely on our minds for direction. We no longer feel overwhelmed. We have access to our intuition and inner wisdom.
So spend some time today reconnecting to your centre. Stop even for a few minutes, to breathe and connect back to the truth of who you are, to the truth within you. Notice the feeling of calm this brings, and notice how ready you become to tackle whatever needs to be done.
We have powerhouses within us that we can forget to access. We have everything we need to know inside of us. Sometimes it’s just a case of becoming still enough to hear it. Of shutting out the outside world long enough to listen.
We may think we don’t have time to stop or to tune in but it will save us so much time and trouble in the long run.
So come back to your centre. It will guide you true every single time.
When we are grounded and centred we don’t have to worry about making the wrong decisions, because they’ll be coming from a place of truth.
Whenever you’re anxious, unsure or confused remember that you can come back to your centre, to the resting place in your heart. There you will find the answers, and all the comfort and direction you’ll ever need.
